Bus Route Safety is a Big Concern

PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — Tuesday marked the beginning of a three-day School Bus Safety campaign by the South Dakota Highway Patrol.

Troopers will partner with schools to observe bus routes, monitor loading zones and make sure motorists are stopping for buses when they should.

Patrol vehicles will be seen near school bus stops and loading areas.
