SIOUX FALLS, SD, (KELO.com) — On Tuesday night, President Donald Trump posted a tweet slamming South Dakota Sen. John Thune for his comments regarding the Electoral Election.
Trump called Thune a “RINO,” and “Mitch’s boy,” and at the end said Thune will be “primaried” and the senator’s political career will be over.
Gov. Kristi Noem came to Thune’s defense replying to Trump’s tweet saying that she is a friend of Sen. Thune and won’t be going against him.
Thune has not yet responded to either the President or Governor.
Republicans in the Senate so quickly forget. Right now they would be down 8 seats without my backing them in the last Election. RINO John Thune, “Mitch’s boy”, should just let it play out. South Dakota doesn’t like weakness. He will be primaried in 2022, political career over!!!

.@johnthune is a friend of mine, and I will not be challenging him. I’m honored to be Governor of South Dakota and will ask the people to give me an opportunity to continue serving them as Governor in 2022.
