SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) – Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the U.S., is giving health insurance giant Wellmark until July to reach agreement on a contract.
Sanford officials say Wellmark is pushing for authority to change contract terms after an agreement is signed.
It would affect how patients receive care and how that care is paid for.
Without an agreement, Sanford says the contract will be terminated.
