SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) – Multiple crews were needed to douse a blaze at the Smithfield Foods plant over the weekend.
There was heavy smoke on several floors of the facility when crews arrived at about 5 yesterday morning.
The fire was extinguished in about 45 minutes.
There were no injuries and the cause is under investigation.
