PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) – South Dakota’s pheasant population is on its annual decline with the arrival of Pheasant season.
Thousands of hunters spread out across the state for the opener on Saturday to a high bird count and good weather.
Saturday’s wind may have given the birds a bit of an edge.
